Materials & jewellery care
What does 925 sterling silver mean?
925 sterling silver contains 92.5% silver, with the remaining portion made up of other metals used to create a durable jewellery alloy.
Is Sheoli jewellery sterling silver or silver-plated?
Our core jewellery is made in 925 sterling silver. Depending on the design, a piece may have a rhodium, gold, rose-gold or oxidised finish. Please check the individual product page for the specific material and finish.
Will 925 sterling silver tarnish?
Silver can naturally tarnish over time. This is a characteristic of sterling silver and does not mean the jewellery is damaged or of poor quality. Tarnishing can vary depending on moisture, sweat, skin chemistry and the environment.
How can I care for my Sheoli jewellery?
Keep jewellery dry, gently wipe it after wearing and store it clean and completely dry. We recommend removing jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising and sleeping, and avoiding prolonged contact with perfumes, cosmetics, chlorine and chemicals.
For detailed care instructions, please see our Jewellery Care Guide.
How should I clean my jewellery?
Use a soft, dry cloth or muslin cloth for gentle cleaning. Avoid toothpaste, lemon, vinegar, baking soda, abrasive powders, scrubbing and unverified cleaning hacks. Do not use generic jewellery-cleaning liquids unless confirmed suitable for that particular piece.
What gemstones, pearls and other stones does Sheoli use?
Depending on the design, Sheoli may use natural gemstones, precious or semi-precious stones, pearls, lab-created/synthetic stones and other decorative or ornamental stone materials. The relevant material will be mentioned on the product page where applicable.
Why can stones vary slightly in colour or appearance?
Natural stones and pearls can naturally vary in colour, tone, texture, pattern, clarity and inclusions. These variations are part of their individual character.
Warranty
Does Sheoli jewellery come with a warranty?
Yes. Sheoli jewellery comes with a 6-month limited warranty against eligible manufacturing and workmanship defects.
What does the warranty cover?
It covers genuine manufacturing and workmanship defects, including eligible structural, setting, clasp, closure and applicable finishing or plating defects, subject to our Warranty Policy.
Is tarnishing or fading covered under warranty?
Natural tarnishing of 925 sterling silver, natural changes to oxidised silver and deterioration caused by exposure, moisture, chemicals or care contrary to our Jewellery Care Guide are not considered manufacturing defects.
For gold and rose-gold jewellery with ≥1 micron plating, premature or abnormal plating defects are covered during the 6-month warranty period. Flash/light plating below 1 micron remains covered for eligible manufacturing and workmanship defects, but normal exposure-related fading is not covered.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact us with your order details and a description of the issue. Please share clear photographs and any other information requested. We may need to inspect the jewellery before determining the appropriate resolution.
Size & fit
How do I find my ring size?
Sheoli uses Indian ring sizes. You can measure your finger circumference or the inner diameter of a well-fitting ring and compare it with our Ring Size Chart.
What if I am between two ring sizes?
We generally recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit, particularly for wider rings.
How do I find my bracelet or bangle size?
Bracelets are generally measured by wrist circumference, while closed bangles need to pass over the widest part of your hand. Please refer to our Size Guide and the measurements provided on the individual product page.
What if I ordered the wrong ring size?
Eligible rings may be exchanged within the applicable exchange period, subject to our Return & Exchange Policy. Adjustable rings and certain other products may have different conditions.
Can Sheoli resize a ring?
Resizing depends on the design. Please contact us before ordering if you need help with sizing. Third-party resizing or alteration may affect warranty eligibility.
